Hoton Pipeline

Project Synopsis:

The Hoton field is located in the Southern sector of the North Sea, the field comprises a single production well mounted on a monopod type platform, gas is exported via an 8” pipeline to the West Sole field and with power and control via an electrohydraulic umbilical.

The clients wished to drill a second well from the existing platform and required appraisal of options and costs for two pipelines to meet two differing production profiles.

CWS Solution and Scope Services:

The CWS scope included conceptual sizing of two pipelines, screening of pipeline route options, estimation of material, fabrication and installation costs for the two pipeline size options and one umbilical option.
